RAV-105
Prior too the commencment of hostilities in Europe the U.S.Army realized a gap in capabilities between the LAV-25 and the M8 AGS programs. The LAV-25 did not meet Army MOUT requirements, M8 AGS was deemed vunerable without the add-on armor kits. The Army purchased licenses too produce the Italian developed Centauro.
There are 2 hatches on the turret for Gunner and Commander and one on the front deck for the Driver. RAV-105 can ford 1,5 meters with no preperation.
Vehicle has independent auxillary power unit for basic electricl needs,thus saving fuel while idling. Vehicle is equiped with NBC protective filtration. Gunner and Commander share a stablized thermal imager.
Due to the nature of the RAV-105's turret, any turrest hit that results in an ammunition explosion does not automatically kill the crew and destroy the vehicle. Instead consider all turret weapons, sensors and electronics damaged and inoperative. Then apply 50 points of concussion damage to commander, gunner and loader.
There are attachment lugs on the turret and hull fronts for reactive armor (TF, HF).
